Thankfully, our family has been in great health this winter. Of course now that I typed the words one of us will surely wake up with the flu tomorrow. I don't have optimal eating habits but I think I do pretty well and our kids don't turn their noses up at vegetables. I often forget about daily vitamins but I often rely on Emergen-C whenever I'm feeling sluggish or have the slightest symptoms of illness. It's a drink mix found in most grocery stores and is available in several flavors. I made myself a cup before sitting down to write this post, just a little water heated on the stove then poured into a coffee mug on top of the mix.
